Information about the sacred cremation ceremony of H.E. Yongdzin Rinpoche

Dear Devotees and Friends Around the World,

As many of you know, the 49-day prayer period following the parinirvana of our beloved master, His Eminence Yongdzin Rinpoche, concluded on August 2, 2025. However, we have continued our prayers in his honor. The grand Küurig Lezhi Gyin-nga, an extensive fire puja, began on August 4.

We warmly invite everyone to join the sacred cremation ceremony of H.E. Yongdzin Rinpoche, which will take place tomorrow, August 6, 2025. The brief schedule is as follows:

06:30 AM – All present will have the opportunity to pay homage to the sacred Kudung in the main temple. We request that devotees gather in orderly lines in the designated area. Your cooperation in moving swiftly after paying respects is greatly appreciated, as the schedule may be affected by weather conditions.
08:00 AM – The sacred Kudung will be brought to the mandala of the fire deity. A ceremonial procession, led by a group of monks with musical offerings and sacred chants of Rinpoche’s prayers, will accompany the Kudung around the temple for kora before proceeding to the mandala site.
The cremation ritual will follow thereafter.
Following the cremation ceremony, a Post-cremation gathering will be held either in the hall located in the upper basement of the main temple.

Prayers and pujas will continue and conclude on the full moon, August 9, 2025.
